IN THE MARQUEE

Dancefloor

We stock light wood, dark wood and black and white dance floors. We are happy to advise on the right size for the amount of people at your event. As an example, for a wedding with 100 – 120 people, we would recommend a size of 6m x 6m.

If you are looking for a different style, we are very happy to hire this in on your behalf.

Stage

This comes in pieces measuring 2.4m x 1.2m, and can be either 30cm or 60cm high. The size that we find is used most frequently 2.4m x 6m which fits a 4-piece band, but you can have as small or as big as you like!

Double doors

Not only do double doors offer a nice ‘finish’ to the marquee, but we especially recommend using them in the winter months to help minimise any wind and rain entering the marquee.

Paper Lanterns

These can add colour to a marquee, or you can have them in white/ ivory for a more classic look. They are available in a variety of colours.

Heaters

We offer small, medium and large kerosene blow heaters that each come with a full tank of fuel lasting 8-9 hours (you can order additional fuel on top of this should you require it). We would advise the size heater(s) required for the marquee you are having.

Firepit

Our fire pit will create a lovely atmosphere whilst also keeping your guests warm as they socialise outdoors. It is 80cm in diameter and comes with kindling and wood.

Toilets

We are able to source these for you, from basic portable toilets to luxury units of different sizes, and also with the option of disabled access.

Electrical supply

Depending on the site there are three options for this:

  1. We plug directly into 13amp standard socket(s) from a building nearby (if the power requirements for the event are not too high).
  2. We provide a distribution board that is hardwired into a household fusebox, that is no more than 100m from the site (for higher power requirements)
  3. We source an appropriately sized generator if there are no sockets or fuseboxes nearby.

Coconut matting pathway (with or without festoon lighting)

It’s sometimes useful to have a pathway leading into the marquee or to the toilets or other areas, to give your guests something a little firmer under foot.

White picket fencing

Useful for keeping people in…or out! These measure 1.8m in length.

We used Archers for our wedding in 2018 and it was one of our best decisions. From our initial conversations on the phone to the collection after, they were exceptional!
